Mary Kowalski, certified Zumba and Zumba Gold Instructor since May of 2009 is excited to bring Zumba to RJ's Dance Studio. Ask her why she gets down to kicky, flashy Latin dance moves that elevate the heart rate and energize the body and her answer makes alot of sense. "Because it brings joy, laughter and good health into people's lives and into my own life". '
Movement to music is something Mary has been passionate about all of her life and in the 90's taught Ballroom, Latin, Swing and Argentine Tango to individuals and large groups in a number of venues. A few years away from the dance world created an emptiness that Zumba now fills. If you don't have a partner and love to dance, then Zumba fitness is the answer and the reason Mary is so smitten with
Zumba! Leave your inhibitions at the door, there is no right or wrong or judgment, the only rule is to have fun! You move to the level of your ability so that when you need to Back it down a bit, it's ok which makes it a great exercise for all ages, all sizes and all fitness levels. The movements are simple enough and repeated throughout the songs so that anyone can pick it up very quickly. The idea is to put the amount of intensity you want into it, and it's not complicated like other exercise programs are.
