All of these dances are done with a partner. One partner does the man's side (lead). One partner does the lady's side (follow). Partners are never required for classes (except Advanced Level classes). However, equal numbers of Men to Ladies is desired. (Or "leads" to "follows" for the P.C. crowd.)

If you don't have a partner, we try to find one for you, but we cannot guarantee one will be available who will be an acceptable match in height, shape, dance level, attitude, looks, finances or age. Therefore, it is to your advantage to invite and bring your own partner who you know and like to work with in class and practice with outside of class.

Please RSVP all classes.
Class minimums are 4/couples - or -
8 individuals of close to equal men (leads) to ladies (follows).

C L A S S - -- L E V E L S

Beginning Level 1 classes require little or no dance knowledge at all. These classes are designed for the brand new dancer with no rhythm and two left feet. All you need is a sense of humor, a little patience with yourself and your partner, and a willingness to learn.

These classes meet once each week for four weeks in a row, unless otherwise noted. These classes are numbered sequentially on the main class calendar. Each of these classes builds on the previous week's class, so it is important that you start with Class #1 and attend all the classes in the series.

Level 2 Classes meet sparatically when there is enough interest commitment indicated to hold a class. My desire is that more beginning dancers would move on to this level. You've already done a lot of the "hard" work in the beginning level - Let's move up and on !!

These classes pick up where L1 Classes left off.
More material is added plus proper techinique and styling options. Therefore, It is necessary for you to already have a basic, working knowledge of the paticular dance rhythm being addressed and are comfortable with executing the basic material of that dance.

Level 3 Classes meet on most Thursday evenings. The dance rhythm being addressed changes at the request of those participating in the class. Partners are required for these classes.

These classes require a solid understanding and execution of the dance rhythm being addressed.

Students in this class are at different intermediate and advance levels. Instruction varies some for each couple. Therefore, couples need to be able to work alone for a time after receiving specific instruction, help or suggestions.
